The above described products are exclusively applicable for use on roads in traffic calmed zones:
traffic calmed zones are considered as such if there is only maximum walking speed allowed, if the
traffic volume is very low and if the traffic shows only a low percentage of heavy trucks!
Please consider that the below described treatment or application of the cable ramp does not
correspond to the intended purpose and will significantly reduce the lifetime of the product or even
may lead to its destruction:
- Frequent overrunning by heavy trucks
- High percentage of heavy truck traffic
- Frequent overrunning with average speed higher than walking speed (>7 km/h)
- Over running rolling by construction vehicles/machines or other special vehicles / machines
- Overrunning with snow ploughs

Safety Instructions
Overrunning he cable ramp with speeds higher than walking speed ( > 7 km/h) may lead to damages at
the vehicle, especially if the vehicle has a low chassis clearance (e.g. sport cars or cars with a lowered
chassis)
Overrunning of the cable ramp with single track vehicles (e.g. bicycles or motorbikes), especially in bad
weather conditions may lead to falls..
horizont therefore highly recommends to set up warning signs, indicating that there is an
obstacle on the road, advising to drive carefully and not faster than 7 km/h.
